Countdown Asia Festival Kickstarts in Jakarta
Rising acts from both Indonesia and Japan join forces to rock the very first Countdown Asia Festival. A collaboration between TV stations from various Asian countries, this momentous event will be held June 6th to 7th, 11AM at Lapangan D Senayan in Jakarta.

Jpop acts Dempagumi.inc, Kamen Joshi, and Bullet Train are expected to thrill Asian pop aficionados together with Indonesian talents NIDJI, JKT48, Raisa, Cherrybelle, d’Masiv, Electron 45, and Pee Wee Gaskins. Anisong and Vocaloid DJ entertainment will also be provided by Japan's Momochi MINAMI and Indonesia's Re:animation and Redshift. Ultraman Tiga will also make a special 2-day appearance.

Countdown Asia Festival boasts of an "Experience-form Countdown" concept wherein guests can indulge in the newest Japanese, Indonesian, and even Malaysian pop culture. Jakarta is only the starting point and there are plans to hold this event in other Asian countries in the future.

Aside from the performances on the Countdown Live Stage, other pop culture related activities will be held such as the Advance Guard Game tournament and the Anisong Karaoke Battle. Cosplay fans are also invited to witness the Countdown Asia Cosplay Competition organized by CLAS:H and the KAMEN RIDER 555 FAIZ Cosplay Performance by Komutoku. Finally, Thanks Creative Indonesia brings the maid cafe experience to Jakarta via the special event booth Maid Land.
