This year’s award show will be held on June 23, 2012 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan and will be hosted by electro trio Perfume. Presenters include AAA, Nobuaki Kaneko (RIZE), ROLA, SCANDAL, Anna Tsuchiya, w-inds and EXILE, Miliyah Kato, 2NE1, 2PM and J Soul Brothers III will be performing at the award show. More presenters and performances will be announced in the weeks to come.
The MTV VMAJ 2012 is also Japan’s 11th VMAJ thus far. Fans can start voting for their favorite artists and music videos on MTV Japan’s official Facebook fan page at www.facebook.com/mtvjapan. Voting closes June 8, 2012.
