T-ara's bio

T-ara is a group formed by Mnet Media in 2009. T-ara's original five members which consisted of Eunjung, Jiyeon, Hyomin, Jiwon and Ji-ae, were trained for 3 years before their debut. In June 2009, it was announced that Ji-ae and Ji-weon left due to differences in music style. Boram, Soyeon, and Q-ri were added to replace them. The group's agency began to released promotional pictures in July 2009, all different. Afterward, T-ara released their debut single "Lies".
