Lu Yao's bio

Born in China's cold northeaster city of Harbin, aspiring singer Lu Yao goes a long way to Taiwan to begin her Mando-pop career! Having made her first public performance at the tender age of three, the "Ice Princess" has grown up to win beauty pageant as well as modeling prizes. But what she has always wanted to be is a professional singer. After meeting famous Taiwan producer Howard Ho, Lu Yao decided to pursue her dream in Taiwan. Her debut album Winding Road has got support from some big names in Mando-pop, including Bing Wang, Jack Chou, Gary Chen, and Daryl Yao. Lu Yao's first plug, also the album's titular song, is notably composed by singer-songwriter Shadya Lan, written by mentor Howard Ho, and produced by Jamie Hsueh. close
