Career
Lee Hyun-woo began his career as a child actor, building up his resume by playing roles in a number of large-scale productions over the past several years, such as The Legend, King Sejong the Great, The Return of Iljimae, and Queen Seondeok.
After his profile rose as the cute and loyal Chan-doo in Master of Study, Lee took to the stage for the 2010 musical production of Footloose, where he played the leading role of Ren, famously played by Kevin Bacon in the original movie.
In 2011 he and K-pop idol Yoon Doo-joon from B2ST began hosting the music program Music On Top on cable channel jTBC. He then acted opposite IU in the music video for the singer's track "You and I".
The teen actor further expanded his acting scope in the historical drama Gye Baek and revenge thriller Equator Man. He has recently been cast in the cross-dressing romantic comedy To The Beautiful You, the Korean screen adaptation of popular manga Hana-Kimi.
Lee is currently enrolled in the Theater and Film department of Dongguk University. close
