On March 25, 2012, at AKB48's concert at Saitama Super Arena, Jurina Matsui suddenly left in the middle of a song. She was diagnosed with "dizziness due to anemia, overwork" and was hospitalized for a few days. According to the event manager, in the past few months there had been reports of Jurina's poor physical condition, but she had stated,"I absolutely do not want a break". She has been absent from AKB48's activities since then. AKB48's producer Yasushi Akimoto informed the group's fans that he had let her rest for an indefinite period of time. close
