She was only a high school junior when noted musician/ producer Park Jin-young discovered her. By singing together with Park in “Shall We Love,” Jinju captivated the nation with her explosive vocal and mature stage manner. She came under the spotlight after singing the remake of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” to perfection in her first album. Since then, Jinju has joined the ranks of truly talented musician. She went abroad to study music in 2000 and returned one year later to release her third album “Love Is…” which showed how her musical range has broadened. In fact, she has crossed R&B with ballad, jazz, rock, blues, and even hip hop to introduce a new and unique music style. Even now Jinju continues to experiment with her music and reinvent herself. close
