    Jang Jin Young was the lead vocalist and youngest member of the group Black Beat under SM Entertainment that debuted in 2000. Towards the beginning of 2007, Jin Young formed a rather controversial relationship with future model Shin Ji-young, after the band disbanded same year, he continued his activities in the R&B duo, ByJinSung.
