biography
HITT decided to become a singer in August 2000, when he was in the punk band BBdan. For two years they played in various clubs in Tokyo and in April 2003, they released their first album NO.1, but unfortunately, the band decided to separate just after this release.
In September of the same year, HITT formed a new group, THE HITMAN. He decided to form it alongside his stage name, HITT. But this project only last a couple of months before they separated due to musical differences in November.
In January 2004, HITT decided to devote himself to his solo career. He gave his first concert at the RED ZONE, Otsuka, but as he was very disappointed with his performance that day, he decided to take a six month holiday, far from the world of music.
During the following year he finally resumed work and decided to start playing the piano. He then played in various cafés and restaurants, and it was at this time that he at last decided to create his first album, MEGA HITT, which was released on the 16th of July.
In January 2007, HITT gave his first one-man concert in Chiba, which was followed by many others in various live houses situated around Tokyo, as well as holding an open air live in Yoyogi Park. In November, he became the bassist for the band OTOKAGE while also working away at his solo career.
HITT released his first mini-album, Kakko Tsuke Man, on the February 11, 2009, and also produced his first video. For the next two months, he went on a worldwide tour with OTOKAGE and also performed solo at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Philadelphia (USA).
On the May 13, HITT decided to leave OTOKAGE. His last concert with the group was on the 14th of June. From then on, he turned his focus entirely to his solo career. In June 2009, Râmen Events announced its collaboration with HITT: a European release of his mini-album as well as a tour taking him to various European countries this September. close
