She is also known for singing both opening themes of the anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, as well as the opening and ending theme for the upcoming live-action adaption, making it her third tie-in with the series.
Eiko had released three albums prior to her debut under Geneon Entertainment, and released her first major label album ULYSSES in 2005. She released her first full-length album O on October 4, 2006 and will release her second full-length album, Hikari Nadeshiko on April 2, 2008.
Eiko composes the majority of her music, and writes all of her lyrics. She runs a music school called Shimamiya Size (S-size) in Sapporo, Hokkaido. close
