    Cho Kyu Chan (born January 13, 1971, Seoul) is Korean singer. He is brother of Cho Kyu Chun (조규천) and Cho Kyu Man (조규만), and married to singer Hey (해이).

    Jo Kyu Chan is possibly the most gifted musician in Korea; he is a songwriter, a vocalist, and a chorus singer at the same time, and is very highly talented performing all of them. Jo Kyu Chan is raised in a very musical environment, where all his parents and brothers at one point was a musician; him and his two older brothers – Jo Kyu Man and Jo Kyu Chun—actually is refered to as the Jo-trio, and have worked together in various works. He first debuted singing the “Rainbow” in the Yoo Jae Ha Music Contest, and won the grand prize in 1989. After the successful debut, he teamed up with Kim Jung Ryeol and Lee Joon, and released the album ‘Shadow that a New Wind Blows’ in 1990. The title song “Good Day” was a new type of music for then, and was enough to make the listeners remember him. However, after breaking up with the team, he starts to build up himself as well, giving songs to various singers.
    1993, Jo Kyu Chan finally produces his first solo album ‘Even The Warm Coffee.’ The songs like “Even the Warm Coffee” and “Memory #1” receives great responses from both the audience and the critics. Since then, he has been releasing his single albums ceaselessly, with the 7th and the latest record coming out in 2004 – the “Single Note.”
    However, not only was he hard-working on his own music, but also wrote songs and appeared as guest singers in many other albums as well, namely the three Toy projects and two Jo-Trio albums.
