Asami Abe (安倍麻美) is the younger sister of Natsumi Abe. She started her career doing CMs for Nintendo Puzzle Collection, and she has also appeared in a few TV dramas.

In 2006, Asami and older sister Natsumi will be playing the title roles in a Japanese TV drama about the 60's Japanese pop duo The Peanuts. (Coincidentally, Natsumi's former Morning Musume bandmates Ai Kago and Nozomi Tsuji have recorded cover versions of several Peanuts songs in their post-Musume group W (Double You).) close
