Aoi (BOUNTY)'s bio

Since joining KAZUYA (ex. FANATIC CRISIS) to form BOUNTY in March 2007, Aoi has been devoting himself to his solo career, and released his first single, VISION, in December.

Now in 2008, Aoi is moving onward with an ambitious schedule. He has a slew of live performances coming up at visual kei hot spots like Takadanobaba AREA, HOLIDAY SHINJUKU, CLUB JUNK BOX, and SENDAI HOOK, and his second single EDEN will go on sale May 28. Both of these singles have Aoi on vocals, Tohru Nagae on drums, SHUN as guitarist, and OYABUN (Little Non) playing bass. Aoi composed the music and lyrics for all of the songs, while the arrangements were done by both Aoi and his drummer Tohru Nagae.

Not even a month after EDEN comes out, his full album Veil will be released! The CD + DVD version of the release will include a PV for a new song, LUMIERE. Aoi will certainly be keeping his fans satisfied with so many new releases in less than a year's time, and he's sure to gain more popularity as people see and hear more from this promising new artist. close
