ANARCHY started his career as an MC in 1996. With his agressive attitude and the pure emotional lyrics, he gained attention by performing lives in his home ground, Kyoto. In 2000, he formed a group called "RUFF NECK" with his home boys, YOUNG BERY, NAUGHTY, JC and DJ AKIO. RUFF NECK released 1000 copies of their maxi single "BLACK JACK" independently. In 2002, ANARCHY released 2000 copies of his solo maxi single "GHETTO DAYS" independently. At this time, ANARCHY started performing in different areas such as Osaka and Nagoya, and was featured on albums such as B-NINJAH & AK-69 "DA REAL THING", "HARLEM VER 3.0", DJ HAZIME "AIN'T NO STOPPIN' THE DJ".
In 2004 he joined RYUZO, who is the long running MC from Kyoto to start a record production/label "R-RATED RECORDS". He made appearances on albums such as YAKKO FOR AQUARIUS "MY HOOD IZ...", RYUZO "RELOADED", DJ RYOW "PROJECT DREAMS" and KALASSY NIKOFF "REDSTA-THE MELODIZM- ". In December 2005 he released an EP "GHETTO KING" (FUTURE SHOCK/ R-RATED). He went on Japan Tour with RYUZO in over 40 areas in Japan and his name started to spread in the Japanese Hip Hop Scene.
In April 2006, he released an EP "GROWTH" (R-RATED).
In December 2006, he released an album "ROB THE WORLD" (R-RATED). He was selected as one of the "Next 100 People in the '00 Generation" in a Japanese culture magazine "QUICK JAPAN", and as "Most Expected 5 MCs in the Future" in the Japanese Hip Hop magazine "BLAST".
In February 2008, he released an autobiography book called "Itami no sakubun". In this book he focused on his childhood to the day he became a rapper, which gave his fans more explanation to why he became a rapper. This book is also read by non hip hop listners and young people who try to follow their dreams, and became the best selling book written by a rapper in Japan.
In September 2008, he released his 2nd album "Dream and Drama" which became Best Domestic Hip Hop Album on "Music Magazine", "Riddim Magazine", and "bounce Magazine (by Tower Records)". On the release date, he performed a free live at Apple Store Shibuya, where he marked the biggest crowd ever at that store. Also music video of "Fate" won the BEST HIP HOP VIDEO on SPACE SHOWER TV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS 09.
In 2010 he was featured on a single "I Rep" along with DABO and KREVA, released from Manhattan Recordings, which became #1 on the iTunes Hip Hop Single chart. close
