Well where i live is the opposite. When its summer we get snow, and When its winter we get sunshine. In other words, our weather is bipolar (because i live by the mountains). So the reason i'm saying all this is because...its april. One of favourite times of the year, because we usually get rain. But at the moment thats not happening. No whats happening is this
Yup, a snowstorm. Just last week it was nice and sunny. Then we got snow in the mornings, but by the afternoon it was sunny. Now its a snow storm, and the weather is gonna be like this for the rest of the week. I personally....love this weather its the perfect to sit inside, watch anime, bake cookies, and sit by the fireplace. But it also means i can't go on runs outside since its cold!!
But yeah...thats my story guys! How is the weather where you live?

the vocals in this....are so powerful!! its like he is so madly in love he can barely breath. This is legitimately one of the best love songs i've ever heard. the lyrics....my favourite part is 1:32 til 1:42. the flow of the lyrics is beautiful If that is what love is...i want it. It sounds so difficult but worth it

I've been listening to a lot of my old music lately from my phone, and i really miss 2011. i miss all the amazing jpop and kpop that came out that year if you love someone...sing this to them.

ok so in May i'm going to anime convention. A lot of people have been asking me which one i'm going to, and i'm finally going to tell you guys.....
It's called Otafest
and i'm soooo freakin excited for it because of the following things....
First off...its an anime convention!! i mean they are like the funnest things ever! the programming this year is its best yet! its fun to meet new people, attend different panels, and buy stuff there are gonna be 2 dances, and i love dances, and at one of them they're going to play some kpop and jpop.
Secondly....i get to interview the band "Umbrella". and i get to propose to one of them!! (just kidding about that part). but yeah i was telling Jimmy, about how i'm nervous about it because i want it to go really smoothly. and i wanna make the video perfect, so that i can get other opportunities to interview bands.
Thirdly.... i'm hosting a panel!!! Its about visual kei!
basically what we are going to be doing is learning about some bands, and listening to their songs. then we are gonna learn a couple of dances (from golden bomber, an cafe, etc). and then we are gonna play some trivia. like guess the jrocker, guess the band, guess the song, etc. And you can win prizes! and the prizes are gonna be merchandise from the band umbrella.
Fourthly (woah i didn't even know fourthly was actually a word...i never get this far).....i'm going to be participating in otafest idol (singing competition) with my friend. we are performing distress and coma by gazette. now i don't think my voice is anything to special...but then again i only sing in the shower and i haven't sung in front of a crowd since gr.5!! but i'm doing this to build up confidence, and just have fun. YOLO right?
Fifthly (ok this doesn't sound like it should be a word)....i'm entering the cosplay competition! my friend and i are gonna be doing a dance, most like "alone" by ukiss since we already learnt the dance for out talent show. this is going to be my cosplay (its sougo from gintama bu as a girl)
and yup...that is it so far!!
So as you can imagine, i'm extremely excited!

Hey guys, so i'm in a big dilema right now. The anime convention that i'm going to in may is coming up, and i don't know who/if i want to cosplay anyone? The convention is 3 days. The first day i will be dressing oshare kei

Now the problem for cosplaying is that i have a lot going on, on saturday. i actually have some really exciting news. So on saturday i signed up to host a panel for visual kei!!! and it got accepted. we are gonna be listening to music, learning some dances, and doing jrock trivia (where you can win some prizes from the jrock group attending this year, umbrella)
Saturday is also the day that i will most likely be interviewing umbrella and last but not least...me and my friend are joining the idol competition. we are thinking of either singing distress and coma by gazette, or you can do everything by one ok rock!!
oh yeah i might be joining to cosplay contest because my friend once us to do our dance to alone by ukiss. and i know its a cosplay competition but even if i'm dressed vk or oshare kei, i can still enter for the performance portion. see both the people i wanna cosplay wear skirts so idk if that would work well with the dance!
So this is all happening in one day so i don't know if i should cosplay or not.... but if i do here are the 2 choices it comes down to:

Gintoki- girl version from the monster hunter arc

So last night (wednesday) was the concert i had talked about in a journal 4 months ago. And right now i'm going through post-concert depression. so let me recap my experience for you guys.
This was the first official concert i've ever been to. i went with my sister. The concert was for the group Billy Talent, who are my fav english band. here is one of their songs i love:

This was the first official concert i've ever been to. i went with my sister. The concert was for the group Billy Talent, who are my fav english band. here is one of their songs i love:

So the night started out pretty simple. my sister and i started talking to this guy, and he said the concert will get pretty rowdy so if we need help, just tap him on the shoulder. The opening bands were these 2 groups "indian handcrafts" and "Hollerado". They were both really good, but the crowd didn't go crazy until the last opening band came on: Sum 41.
Now i only like 2 songs by this group, and they are both ballads. But they didn't play these songs. Instead they played songs that got the crowd so pumped that we were getting crushed!!
We were right by the front, by the way.
I started to get to much we could barely breathe!! and we are only like 5' 4", and there were guys who were like 6' around us!!
I grabbed on to my sisters arm so that i wouldn't get lost. This guy in front of my kept looking back at me, but i didn't know why. The song changed so i went to change my grip, i looked at my sisters arm and realized.....i was holding onto the other guys arm the whole time!!! Talk about embarrassing! So it was getting way to much for us, so we tapped the guy on the shoulder, he waved to security. Him, and the guy who's arm i held lifted us up and over the fence (barriere thing) in the front, and security helped us down. so we walked to the back of the crowd which was still really close to the stage!
Sum 41 finished, and it was another 30 min until billy talent came on. And when they came on.....everyone went crazy it was awesome!!! The crowd we were in, were super fun, and nice, and still really close to the stage. Now here comes the fun part.
My sister asked me if i wanted to move even more forward. So i say yeah! but then she was like No...i said do you want to try crowd surfing?
i was like "OMG HELL YEAH!!!!"
So we got a couple of guys beside me to lift me up!! and then the crowd passed me on-
and the dropped me on my butt it didn't hurt though, it was fun!
Then some guy pulled me to my feet, and asked if i wanted to go up again. I was like "yes please!" so they lifted me up passed me on...and then i got dropped again, but luckily this time i landed on my feet
again some guys helped me up again, until i reached the front, and then i went over the barriere, security lifted me down, and then i walked to the back of the crowd and pushed my way through to find my sister again.
Then i went crowd surfing a second time during their song Surprise Surprise.
Luckily i wasn't dropped this time.
i also bought a tshirt i was gonna buy a poster, but i didn't want to spend to much, plus there is no space on bedroom wall as you guys know.
all in all, the experience started out horrible, when sum 41 was on. And then when Billy talent came....it was surreal. i mean i can't believe.....I WENT CROWD SURFING!!!! now i'm just trying to look for more rock concerts to go to and the performance was great as well. They played every single one of my favourite songs! (except for the one i posted above )
of course there were negatives, like drunk people, people smoking weed, and mosh pits. But it was an experience that i can't wait to try again!! i will post some pictures in my next journal, or i will edit this one so keep your eyes peeled!!

So before i get to the reason of this title i guess i will tell you how my past 2 days have been. Starting with thursday:

ok so we had a half day on thursday because we had parent/teacher interviews in the afternoon. a couple of my friends were gonna ditch class 20 minutes early to catch a bus to visit our friends high school during their lunchtime. I also had to buy some hair dye from the mall across that school so i figured i would tag along. We all just told our teachers we had appointments and had to leave class early. Omg i miss my friends sooo much!! i hadn't seen them in a month, and it was so nice to stand around and chat. i had to be careful though because everyone in their school wears lanyards and i would be kicked out if they knew i didn't go to that school!! After their lunch time finished i went over to the mall with my friends from my high school. I got a yummy muffin from second cup (since i had a giftcard). Then i bough a bottle of hair dye. it was $15 and more than i need but my friend said we can split the bottle, and split the price i'm going to by dyeing the ends of my hair turquoise aqua for a concert this wednesday. So then we headed back to the school. My friends wanted to stay until their friends classes finished (but that would be in 1 and half hours), but my friends would be leaving right away so i decided to head home. I luckily caught the bus just in time!! otherwise i would've waited 20 min in the freezing cold (yes its still freezing where i live). I went home, did some homework, and then kinda chilled for the rest of the night.
Now moving onto friday:
ok so i had an early dismissal at school today since we get one every friday. My friend invited my to go to chinatown to get some chinese buns, but i said no because i had no money, and i had other plans. Those other plans being handing in my application forms for some jobs!! So i really wanna be a cook in a restaurant, so i applied to 2 restaurants. So after school i took the train to the first restaurant (the one i really wanna work at). Luckily the restaurant is right by the station so it was only a 5 minute walk! So i went in, and asked the girls at the front if i could speak to the manager. They said he was busy (since their debit/credit machine broke) but they could give it to him for me. I said i would prefer to hand it in myself, so i asked when he would be free and they said quarter to 4. It was only 2:30. so i said i would be back!
In the meantime i headed to the other restaurant! so i had to take the train one more station away. I went to this restaurant, asked to talk to the manager, the guy said he was the manager so i introduced myself and said i was here to hand in my application and see if i could get an interview with the chef (since they are the ones who hire kitchen staff). He said, sure have seat he will see if the chef has time. So in the mean time he went to go talk to the chef, i had a chat with this older lady about the weather. She was so sweet, and i was proud of my social skills because i kept the convo going and made her laugh a couple times. So after a couple minutes the manager came back and said unfortunately the head chef was busy, but if they are interested he will give me a call (i'm guessing within the next week). So he said i was welcome to stay and warm up though but i had to get going, so i said i was good, and said my goodbyes and left back to the station. But not before going to tim hortons to grap a half hot chocolate/ half french vanilla drink. After i got my drink i walked the station again, and headed back to the other restaurant. it was still only 3 when i reached so i went to this book store while i waited, and spent my time in the manga section then i headed to the restaurant at 3:35.
so the same girl who was there before, welcomed me, and said the manager is free so she will go grab him for me! So she brought the manager back he introduced himself as did i. I said i was applying to be a cook, and i said i most likely have to talk to the head chef. He said i was absolutely right, and told me to take a seat while he went and grabbed him. As i turned around to take a seat, this guy said:
-Hahaha i guess this is a great time to apply
I saw he was holding an application form so i replied
-haha yeah are you applying as a cook?
-nope i would like to be a server. so their is no competition between us!
-hahahahaha, if we both get the job we can be friends then!
After that we had a good 10 minute chat. He is in his early 20's he is a dancer, and teaches dance to students, as well as performs and travels with his company. We talked about new york and toronto, and how amazing Canada is he was sooo nice, i really hope he gets hired! So after 10 minutes a guy in a chef uniform comes up to me, he introduces himself as the sous-chef and shakes my hand, while i do the same. We went and sat at one of the tables. So he asked me a couple questions such as:
Why do you wanna work as a cook?
and lol well thats it. but we also discussed my schedule and i told him im in high school and i always get days off so i can always work some full days, etc. He was really nice about it and it seemed very flexible. he then asked me this question:
-i like asking all the people i interview "if you could be a dish/food, what would you be....?"
-hmmmmmm....
The first thing that popped into my head was chicken teriyaki. it just came so naturally. and so did my response which was the following:
-i would be chicken teriyaki, because first off i absolutely love Japanese culture, and teriyaki is japanese. and second of all, because i'm nice and sweet
his response:
-hahaha thats actually an awesome answer! most of the guys i interview say stuff like "Steak, because i'm the best" etc etc.
So yeah after that he said he will hand my application to the head chef, and i will get a call within the next week or so letting me know if i get the job. There will be no call if i don't get it
omg you guys don't know i much i want this. no....not want...need this. Not for the money. For the enjoyment! For the fact that i can be extremely proud of my job. and everyday i wake up i can be excited for work rather than dread it. I pray insha'allah (if god wills it) that i get it
i will let you guys know how it goes though.

So that title is a description of my typical Friday night. Lol jk, but it was an amazing day!!! So lets start from the beginning:
So today was mine and my friends audition for the school talent show. It ended up going pretty well :p I didn’t make any mistakes, my friend made a couple, but we got lots of compliments! Everyone said it was very unique. we personally didn’t think it was anything to amazing because we were comparing it to u-kiss, and well its hard to match their dancing skills. B...
So that title is a description of my typical Friday night. Lol jk, but it was an amazing day!!! So lets start from the beginning:
So today was mine and my friends audition for the school talent show. It ended up going pretty well I didn’t make any mistakes, my friend made a couple, but we got lots of compliments! Everyone said it was very unique. we personally didn’t think it was anything to amazing because we were comparing it to u-kiss, and well its hard to match their dancing skills. But since nobody listens to kpop (or I guess jpop in this case) they didn’t know what the dance was supposed to be like. I think everyone thought that we made it up results for the auditions will be posted Monday, so wish me luck!! I really wanna make it because I kinda wanna be known for something in the school…I also wanna get to see the talent show for free ☺
Ok our audition was after school, and we made some plans to hang out with some friends after them. So we were gonna meet them at the train station but my friend was a little hungry so we went to tim hortons –on a side note have you ever had the half French vanilla, half hot chocolate? Its heaven- and then walked over to chapters and went to the manga section. After like 30 mins they finally came. We walked around the area a bit, and then decided to eat at boston pizza. None of us like it, but we had no clue where else to go so we just went there. Food wasn’t anything to special but it was awesome getting to see my friends again. I hadn’t seem them for 2 months, because we go to different schools, and we are always busy! But we caught up on a lot of gossip. Turns out some kid at my school was charged with 2nd degree murder…..
Yeah don’t ask me where I was when this happened. I tend to not focus on anyone but my friends and myself (and my brother and his friends), so I don’t know anything else that goes on. my school is a bad school. Full of drugees and stupid people, but we got a lot of good people as well. And most of them are really nice, besides the douchebags but I don’t converse with them.
Anyways, so after we ate we went to petland. We saw this bunny that had what looked like jrocker hair. It was grey human like hair on top of its head, it was the coolest thing ever I think the name chobi would suit the bunny, although their personalities are different.
Then I had to go to my brothers soccer game and I had to be home by 5:15. But I didn’t wanna have to walk to the station, wait for the bus, then walk home, so I called my bro to come pick me up.
Now for the best part of my day:

Ok so we went to the soccer dome (its indoor soccer), and it is located in the N.E. now the north east part of my city is the part where all sorts of ethnicities live. Mostly brown. And the brown guys…..are the best looking brown guys you will ever see. Indians, pakistanis, ARABS. And the best part was…
They were all looking at me ok I know that sounds conceited, but whenever I go to my bros soccer games I look like shit. But yesterday I had my hair straightened, I was wearing eyeliner, and was dressed preppy, because of our dance audition. And some of the guys were soooooo good looking I swear they were gonna talk to me…..but unfortunately my sister was there. I love my sister and all but I think she was jealous. I know she was being protective but when we were walking by some guys to go to the bathroom she stood inbetween us. And then when I wanted to walk around a bit she was like no I’m to tired I wanna sit, even though she always wants to walk around. It just sucks because the one time I look good in front of good looking people (when usually I have really bad luck) I don’t get to flaunt it. And since I’m pretty depressed about the guy I like having a girlfriend It was nice to see that I wasn’t missing out on anything
One funny thing did happen though. I was walking to the field from the bleachers and I was passing by some guys sitting on a bench and they were all like:
-Hey!
And I didn’t know if they were talking to me, so I kinda turned to them and did this really stupid face (not on purpose) that was like “you talking to me?”
And then I just walked away and realized how stupid I looked in front of them, but I found it funny, because my sis was with me and said she did the exact same face when they said hey
Ok to wrap up the night, my sisters friend came over to watch horror movies….til 3 am
The first one we watched….i forgot the name but it was really stupid but fun to make fun of.
The second one was another stupid one called mandrake. It was about this plant monster that kills people. And …idk what really happened cuz we forwarded through the whole thing, but in the end the main girl and guy survived, and of course the coloured guys all die (some black guys and Mexicans).
Then we watched a movie that just made my day. No my life. They all watched a Korean horror movie with me! My sister, her friend, my brother, and me. Cool thing was that I didn’t even recommend the movie, we were just flipping through netflix and they were like hey that movie sounds cool lets watch it.
The movie was called death bell. It wasn’t amazing, but it was much better than all the other Korean horror movies I’ve watched. It was more like a thriller, and had a good but confusing ending. And my sisters friend thought the male actor in it was really hot even though she isn’t into asians at all! but she couldn’t get over how hot she was! The actor was kim bum from boys over flowers
I agree he is hot
Ok last movie of the night was another “ethnic” movie called macabre. It was Indonesian. I wasn’t quite scary…more like really gory and graphic, which I don’t really support, but I have no problems watching. About 40 minutes into the film we forwarded through some parts, but basically It was a lot of chopped off limbs, slashed wrists and necks, loads of broken bones, and blood everywhere. Afterword’s we were kinda like…..what did we just watch? I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t have a strong stomach. And the story line was ok. The movies we watched on Monday were better (we had a horror movie night then) but there is always next week
So yup that was how I spent my Friday! Now I’m just gonna finish up some homework, film a youtube video, and then watch some anime! Let me know what you guys did this Friday in the comments!!

-well i plan on going to japan in the next couple of years right? So if i date someone here, then when i go to japan i have to tell them this:
hey it waas a great couple of months/years i spent with you, but i'm off to japan to meet my husband don't worry i will still invite you to the wedding!
i mean how horrible would that be to say to a guy. and when i say this i'm not joking. i'm marrying a jrocker if its the last thing i do.
the thing i love about jrockers is that they are so "not perfect".
not all of them look good without makeup, of their hair done.
but they are funny, they've got talent, they have great personalities.
i'm sorry, someone tell me how you wouldn't want to marry one?

some other exciting news is that my friend and i decided to audition for the school talent show. our audition is in 2 weeks, so we have until then to practice our dance!! the dance we are doing is a cover of ....Alone by ukiss here is the mv if you haven't seen it:
its really awesome because we are allowed to use the drama/dance room to practice, so we get it all to ourselves for the next couple of weeks. we practiced yesterday, and we are just halfway through the chorus. the dance isn't actually to hard, but we want to get it perfect. its just us 2 because none of our friends who dance go to our school!
in other news i'm dyeing the ends of my hair purple tomorrow. wish me luck, i hope it turns out good!! I'm also getting my hair cut, and whenever i get my hair cut i usually get my bangs done in a cool way, so i was wondering what you guys think i should get this time? here is what i was thinking:

I hope she gets well soon!! i got my bangs cut like hers a year ago and i loooved them, but its always fun to try something new.
