Hello, my name is Dot/Merodi/insertinterestingnicknamehere, and I am an 18 year old girl from the UK who can only be described as a Japanophile

I first got interested through Anime and Manga ), and now the Japanese music fandom has captured me. I am learning spoken and written Japanese in my spare time, and I enjoy translating songs and articles with the aid of my handy dictionary I am also planning to continue studying French till I am 18.

In any case, I am a big fan of the fun, colourful, unusual pop-y stuff that makes you smile, dance, or feel like acting silly etc. I'm not sure I really KNOW what defines the music I like.. I also like most western music. I love to sing as well.

What kind of a person am I? I am USUALLY pretty happy.
I like relaxing, or more accurately, I'm a bit of a slob. I like playing badminton though!

Oh yeah, and I love baking muffins, I can't dance to save my life, and Tapirs are awesome. So is 関ジャニ∞.

I have a liking for Horror films 8D
Because I like to be scared, I guess, although I am far from being a scary/mysterious person in real life *sighs* xD
For example, The Ring, 28 Weeks later....
I also like really silly heartwarming comedy type-films as well. Clueless, Legally Blonde, Mean Girls etc. Idc if my tastes are contradictory, it's all good 8D

I LIKE TO WATCH J-DRAMA 8D Although admittedly not very often.
I especially love Yasuko to Kenji, the ridiculous humour of that series is something you couldn't get away with in the UK, I think :3
As for UK series'....whatever's on TV I guess 8D
